Draft Member Terms
Yours Meets Mine provides technology for people to discover listings, communicate and arrange exchanges. Unless Yours Meets Mine expressly says otherwise, members—not Yours Meets Mine—provide the goods, services, transport, activities, training or companionship described in listings.
Member promises
- You are at least 18 years old during the initial launch and may legally enter an agreement.
- Your identity, profile, listings, qualifications and availability are accurate and not misleading.
- You will comply with laws, licences, permits, insurance requirements and safety standards that apply to your activity.
- You will not use Yours Meets Mine for prohibited, exploitative, discriminatory, deceptive or unsafe conduct.
- You remain responsible for checking another member, the suitability of an activity, and the terms of each exchange before proceeding.
Platform limits
Match scores, verification labels and automated suggestions are decision-support signals—not guarantees of identity, character, suitability, legality, quality, availability or safety. To the extent permitted by law, Yours Meets Mine does not accept responsibility for member-provided listings or independently arranged activities. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.
Payments and disputes
Payment processing will be handled by an authorised third-party provider. Fees, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks and the contracting party must be shown before a member pays. Yours Meets Mine should not hold member funds until the regulatory model has been reviewed.
Safety Acknowledgement
Members acknowledge that meeting strangers, driving, boating, outdoor activities, physical work, tools, training, cash sales and entering private property can involve serious risks. Members must make their own safety assessment and can cancel at any time.
- Meet first in a public place where practical; tell someone your plans and keep communications on-platform.
- For drives: verify the driver, licence, registration and insurance; use seatbelts; never travel with an impaired or unsafe driver.
- For boating: confirm the skipper, vessel, weather, required safety equipment, lifejackets, capacity and local maritime rules.
- For services or training: check qualifications, insurance and working-with-children requirements where relevant.
- Never send deposits or sensitive documents until identity, terms and payment protections have been checked.
- In immediate danger, contact local emergency services; platform reporting is not an emergency service.
Draft Privacy Notice
Yours Meets Mine may collect account details, general location, profile information, listings, messages, reports, transaction records and safety signals to operate, secure and improve the service. Precise addresses should not be requested for public discovery.
Personal photos
A member may choose a generic avatar or submit a photo of themselves. Submitted photos are stored privately, re-encoded to remove embedded metadata where possible, and are not made public until safety review. Members must own or have permission to use the photo and must not upload another person, a child, identity document, explicit image or sensitive background detail.
Members should receive access, correction and deletion controls. Data must be kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, safety investigations and dispute handling. International data transfers and country-specific privacy rights must be disclosed before each new market launches.
Community & listing rules
Yours Meets Mine may reject, restrict, remove or preserve evidence relating to content or accounts that create legal, safety or trust risks, with an appeal process where appropriate.
- No weapons, illegal drugs, stolen goods, regulated products without approval, sexual services, exploitation or trafficking.
- No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, impersonation, fraud, pyramid schemes or misleading claims.
- No unsafe transport, unlicensed regulated work, undisclosed commercial dealing or requests that endanger people or animals.
- No copyright-infringing material or photos of others without permission.
- Adult content and minors are excluded from the initial release.
Worldwide launch framework
Yours Meets Mine is designed for global use, but access should be enabled country by country. Each launch needs local terms, privacy disclosures, consumer rights, tax and payment treatment, online-safety controls, content rules, sanctions screening, age requirements, insurance and dispute arrangements.
